On Saturday 19 December, took out the awards to the most innovative projects undertaken by young people 13 to 29 years who participated in the 2009 edition of TIV.
The event was attended by Minister of Education and Culture Mr. Mary Simon, who congratulated Your Ideas Valen for his work in promoting innovation and youth.
Your Ideas Valen is a competition organized by Uruguay of ideas that promotes and finances ANII and has the backing of República AFAP.
Note that 6 of the 10 winning projects involved young people who study within the country.
All winners received a one year mentoring for their projects can move forward and fully or partially materialize.
While the first prize winner received a next-generation computer. TIV
promotes innovative thinking among young people of Uruguay in all areas and not only in science and technology.
Numerous projects have been awarded in previous years are now a reality and is progressing well for its realization through the ongoing support that our organization provides to young innovators.
TIV consists mainly of young people who were awarded since 2005 in this contest.
The jury was composed of Chem Eng. Gustavo Ochoa, Mr. Luis Anastasia, the Cr Luis Costa, Prof. Francisco Fernández, Alejandro Landoni, Dr. Hoenir Sarthou, Mr. Alvaro Echaide, Prof. Cesar Barretto Luchini, Adriana Fernandez Architect and Ms. Nathalie Peter Irigoin.
In the event, which has the support of the Cultural Tour Old Town acted in a dance group of the School 136, Salinas and Rescue Merlin rock band.
