Background



NGO ideas Uruguay is working towards creating a national cultural movement and supported the idea that Uruguay should bet more and more innovation and in that sense, young people must play a role first line. "Your ideas are" not just a contest organized by the NGO, but which is a network that supports innovative youth also carried forward by young people with ideas to improve and change reality.



The competition has awarded and supported more than fifty projects, many of them are now a reality. In addition, young participants are invited to join the organization, which in turn can lead to other entrepreneurs.

ROCHA: A CITY TO THE INCLUSION

Earlier in the month of September 2008 we visited, as spectators, the Fair Department of Science and Technology. There were a number of projects on different topics, each more interesting. On one side of the room was a girl who explained to him all who approached him. We wondered, "How did it get here?", This question was not to doubt his intellectual capacity to be present, but because he was in a wheelchair. Bases 1-school competition is open to all undergraduate students and our country. There will be four categories: a) school blogs Ceibal made in the area, b) Blogs school students in Ceibal, c) area school blogs Ceibal no d) high school blogs not Ceibal area.



2-Participation will be by teams representing the class to which they belong, and may have more than one team per class. The number of team members is free.

Your Ideas Valen 2010

Your Ideas Valen (TIV) is the contest of ideas and projects that seeks to incorporate innovation activity is inherent in any society and especially young people of Uruguay.

The Uruguayan project won Virtualibros TIC Americas 2010 in Tradition and Culture awarded by the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) in the framework of the General Assembly XL Organization of American States (OAS). To Virtualibros was one of seven winners from 1200 business projects submitted.


Uruguayan Virtualibros is a project developed by companies and LinkTeve Create , which proposes a new way of learning based on Edutainment, a global trend that unites education and entertainment.

Product The book combines conventional computer (or cell) and was developed using Augmented Reality technology. The result is a digital book that allows access to interactive 3D content or videos on the video display illustrating the text being read.

The project won Virtualibros TIC Americas 2010 in Tradition and Culture. For this edition of TIC Americas 1200 is presented business projects representing 36 countries, leaving 32 finalists who traveled to Peru to compete for seven awards. Virtualibros was one of the winners and will now travel to Taiwan to represent Uruguay at Global ICT.
